Volunteers Needed! Skin Cancer Screening at Legends of Science and Surfing Luau - Saturday, August 15, 2026
SDDS invites dermatologists and residents to volunteer at the annual Legends of Science & Surfing Luau Skin Cancer Screening on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 8:00–11:00 AM at Scripps Pier.
This meaningful community event provides free skin cancer screenings while supporting the Legends of Science & Surfing Luau, a major fundraiser benefiting Moores Cancer Center. Last year alone, volunteer physicians identified four skin cancers through these screenings.
If you're interested in volunteering, please contact us at sddermsociety@gmail.com. For more information about the event, visit https://mcclegends.ucsd.edu.
